For larger jobs, there is our floating dry dock. “Providence” is the only floating dry dock in Boston Harbor and is ready to service a variety of commercial and private vessels up to 500 tons.
Overview
Providence is our state-of-the-art, 500-ton steel floating dry dock, purpose-built to support a wide range of marine maintenance and repair operations. Built in 2021 by Conrad Shipyards and engineered by JMS Naval Architects, this robust dry dock was designed in strict compliance with the "Rules for Building and Classing Steel Floating Dry Docks 2020." With modern engineering and thoughtful design, Providence delivers reliable performance, durability, and safety for vessels under service.
