Building 4 Sightlines

The proposed vessel maintenance and repair shed, "Building 4," is to be constructed in the West Lot of the yard. It will have a 120-foot setback from Marginal Street and measure 225' long by 125' wide by 65' high. The design of the building itself is yet to be completed and the building's square footage is yet to be determined.

The building will be used for vessel maintenance and repair and will be able to fit the travel lift inside. Placement options were determined based on optimal shipyard function, taking into account the water depth, travel lift turning radius, etc. Of these options, the current placement was selected because it had a minimal impact on the neighborhood.
